Liberty Healthcare Corporation Psychiatrist – Hospital Psychiatry Chief in SC, United States

A full-time Psychiatry Chief position is now available with Liberty Healthcare at the G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, SC.

The Bryan Psychiatric Hospital provides a wide array of inpatient services to adults who are experiencing mental illness.

The Hospital is operated by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. Selected physicians and clinical staff work through a long-term collaborative partnership with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.

As Psychiatry Chief, you will provide clinical leadership to hospital staff and help ensure patients receive outstanding mental health care. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Direct and indirect supervision of Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners

  • Providing training and education based on best practices

  • Leading peer review and quality assurance initiatives

  • Collaborating with hospital administration and leadership

  • Consulting on challenging clinical cases and providing direct patient care

As Psychiatry Chief with Liberty Healthcare, you can expect:

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina and are Board Certified in Psychiatry. Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
