BeiGene Director, Marketing, Tislelizumab Strategy in San Mateo, California

General Description:

The Director Marketing Tislelizumab Strategy will build the strategic marketing function responsible for developing and executing commercialization strategies that support the launch of BeiGene’s oncology products within the US. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Sales, Training, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics and Medical Affairs.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as an active member of the US BeiGene Solid Tumor Marketing Team

  • Lead the development of clear, actionable, and differentiated marketing strategies and execution of tactical plans to support the US commercialization of BeiGene’s solid tumor portfolio, including the US launch of Tislelizumab across multiple indications

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align on commercial strategy, priorities and brand vision

  • Partner with Sales, Market Access and Commercial Business Operations to ensure alignment of BeiGene’s US commercialization strategy

  • Partner with Business Analytics on the development and delivery of market insights and KPIs that inform and measure commercial strategies, tactics and product forecasts

  • Lead cross functional groups to develop long-term commercial strategy, brand/tactical plans and marketing budgets

  • Responsible for the development of key marketing deliverables (QBR, LRR, CRR, brand plan, tactical plan etc.) and sharing findings with internal cross-functional partners

  • Conduct competitive assessments and scenario planning to support competitive readiness reviews

  • Provide commercial insights and support for portfolio planning activities for clinical and preclinical programs

  • Build strong relationships and influence commercial strategy with external partners for partnered assets

  • Develop commercial assessments and direct appropriate market research for pipeline as needed

  • Demonstrate marketing thought leadership and represent BeiGene at key meetings, conferences, and functions, etc. when appropriate

  • Drive business results, culture and people initiatives aligned with BeiGene mission

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (e.g. MBA), preferred in business, economics, biological, or medical sciences.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of BA/BS degree with 10 plus years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or related experience (including healthcare consulting, sales, forecasting, market research, etc.).

  • Experience as a marketing leader in oncology preferred

  • Biotech or pharmaceutical US marketplace launch experience required

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions

  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity and risks
