Resumen de la función

Plan and coordinate, implement in a timely manner the introduction of new programs/projects, continuous improvement, and engineering changes of CSL's clients, ensuring that they are carried out within the required goals and budgets. Serve as customer's representative to guarantee quality requirements and product expectations are achieve.

Responsabilidades clave

  • Coordinate, plan and manage the timing of the project including the key dates of the client and CSL.

  • Plan and manage the budget of the project.

  • Be the main contact with the customer. Must ensure effective communication and be the liaison between the customer and CSL.

  • Coordinate and plan the launching of new projects based on the CPMP and specific requirements of the client.

  • Work with the department involve and the commercial area to prepare all quotation requests (RFQ) for engineering changes and new businesses included but not limited to capital investments, tools, equipment and measuring devices.

  • Responsible for evaluating the proposals to suppliers of equipment and capital that issue the division to ensure that they are correct and properly defining the requirements.

  • Follow up the product manufacturing problems with the customer ensuring that the products are feasible for mass production.

  • Follow-up of the timing of the construction of tooling suppliers, ensuring compliance with the timing.

  • Coordinate with the procurement and logistics area the supply of materials for construction events, PPAP, Run at rate and SOP.

  • Coordinate the realization of the documentation of APQP as Flow Chart, FMEA, control plans, GD&T, process sheets, packaging, IMDS, etc.

  • Coordinate in-plant approval of parts (Try-out, PSO, PPAP, Run & Rate, etc.)

  • Authorize the expenses of the department responsibility.

Calificaciones/requerimientos clave

  • Clear understanding and interpretation of the customer specifications (SOR).

  • Strong ability to indirectly lead a team of individual personalities with different cultural backgrounds.

  • Drives entrepreneurial change management in compliance with customer specific process.

  • Maintains a strong working relationship with the customer (transparent, reliable, respected).

  • Profound knowledge of product and program calculations and compliance to targets given by the management.

  • Monitors supplier compliance to quality requirements (APQP, PPAP).
