Intel Network Hardware Engineer in San Jose, California

The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA’s, PSG is looking for great Hardware Engineers to join our team.
As a network hardware engineer, you will perform network product design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems including development of new products and/or updates to existing products. Work may encompass one or several areas of engineering including RTL coding, verification, and board validation. Duties may include research, evaluation, development and application of new processes and methods into network products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets resource and schedules, and documentation of work and results.
MSEE, MSCE, or related degree
8 years of experience in hardware design
Experience with networking protocol, such as Ethernet, PCIe, and Interlaken
Experience with networking system and architecture
Experience in layer-2/3 equipment technologies such as switches, routers, and NIC
Experience with memory, memory system, and their application
Experience with RTL design in Verilog and verification
Experienced in design with FPGA
Experience with virtualization environment of both servers and applications and the use of hypervisor technologies
Experience with the functions and features in cloud/data center environment
Preferred (Additional) Qualifications
Experience with software driver
Experienced in C++ programming
Experienced in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, etc.
Experienced in board bring up and debug
