This position will be part of the global Cloud Operations team based in the US and will work closely with the global team to deliver and deploy cloud services. You will work in a high energy, fun and engaging work environment with talented colleagues from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The Cloud Operations/Devops Engineer will be part of the global Cloud Operations team based in the U.S. and will work closely with the global team to deliver cloud services.
Primary Responsibilities
Build hybrid, scalable cloud environments & production systems
Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient Automation Anywhere cloud platform to meet established SLAs
Deploy and automate infrastructure & platform services in Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using Terraform and Ansible
Manage Continuous deployment using Kubernetes and Jenkins
Manage Backup and Recovery and Business Continuity processes
Execute industry standard security processes for best practices and compliance (SOC2, ISO27001, Fedramp, HIPPA etc)
Monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks
Monitor applications and services using Datadog, Elastic Search, and Opsgenie, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents using Jira Service Desk and the alerting and monitoring tools documented above
Set up intelligent application performance alerts in Datadog and ElasticSearch to find and fix issues before they impact business services and end-users
-Nice to have - Experience working with Tools in AWS GuardDuty, Web Application Firewall and Cloudtrail.
Skills & Requirements
Understanding of how cloud-based web applications work and interest in measuring, analyzing, and improving distributed systems
2.5+ years of experience in 24x7 production operations with at least 1+ years experience with Public Cloud Deployments both Hybrid and Pure public cloud deployments
Be proficient in AWS or GCP
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools for SaaS such as ELK, Splunk, Datadog,Sumologic etc
Nice to have - Experience with Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI
Nice to have - Experience with Networking and security Technology for cloud services
Nice to have - Nice to have AWS or GCP cloud solution architect or equivalent certifications
Nice to have - Knowledge of application architecture and development
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Team player
BS or MS Computer Science
The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $100,240 - $137,830. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
