Uber Senior Staff Program Manager, Talent Acquisition in San Francisco, California

About the Role

The Technology Lead, Talent Acquisition role will be perfect for someone with extensive experience in management, development, and execution of Talent Acquisition strategies related to systems and platforms (Application Tracking Systems and Candidate Relationship Management among others) and internally built applications. You will be owning, leading, and developing TA product strategy, roadmap, and delivery. You will do so by partnering with various stakeholders: Talent Acquisition partners, Software Engineering, Application Engineering, Data, Legal, and other Core HR functions. You will also own/partner on maintenance of TA products ranging across top of the funnel (e.g. performance marketing tools and career site), middle of the funnel (e.g. candidate assessment, interviewing, scheduling), and bottom of the funnel (e.g. offer workflow automation, contract management, immigration, pre-onboarding).

What You'll Do

  • Own the Talent Attraction roadmap alongside business partners, diving deep into the People org needs, as well as business challenges and understanding how TA tooling can support those initiatives

  • Ruthlessly prioritize workloads against available resources, level of impact, and desired business impact

  • Own vendor relationships - onboarding, renewals, and accountability. Engage in RFPs and contract renewal negotiations where needed

  • Manage a team responsible for existing technical services and the ongoing development and implementation of new solutions and processes within the Talent Attraction ecosystem

  • Determine, maintain, and regularly report on success metrics that measure the operational health, performance, effectiveness and efficiency of the systems & tools the team is responsible for delivering

  • Influence the strategy, implementation, integration, and optimization of the TA tech stack in alignment with the vision of the People and Places programs, processes, and policy strategies

  • Partner very closely with People Infrastructure and Business Technology leadership to drive cross-functional alignment with programs and tooling needed to support P&P programs

  • Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to meet security and compliance requirements across all systems as well as taking into consideration data governance

  • Drive the TA Technology ecosystem to a stable state, ensuring that all groups using HR systems are enabled as appropriate

  • Drive the continuous assessment & maintenance of TA Tech solutions, elevating the quality, efficiency, performance & scalability of HR systems

  • Develop and maintain a system governance structure aligned with business processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition tooling

  • Superb communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Solid understanding of HR processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex multi-functional projects

  • Experience with SaaS Talent tooling as well as supporting home grown tools

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$207,000 per year - USD$230,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
