Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Research Analyst II - Research Resources in San Diego, California

This is a grant funded position which is subject to renewal.

JOB SUMMARY:

Position will include performing complex analysis using modeling, forecasting and statistical analysis methodologies. Responsible for the development, analysis and reporting of services, clinical and/or financial outcomes data to RCHSD staff, principal investigators, external agencies, stakeholders, physicians and staff. Determines the effectiveness of current funding (grant/contract) activities, identifies problem areas and develops and/or recommends solutions. May oversee work flow, process improvement efforts, projects and trainings related to area of project, funding, grant, program and/or study.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree

3 years of experience

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and sensitively with people at all levels within and outside of the organization and to maintain confidentiality of all information

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work

Demonstrated project management skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-faceted, generally time-critical work environment

Excel skills at a master's level; management of databases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

4 years of experience

Ability to analyze detailed statistical information, recognize patterns and trends and extrapolate information/data to predict data trends

Experience in a research setting and in working with contract or grant funded protocols and programs

The expected hiring range for this position is $29.09 to $43.27
