WSP USA US Air Force Program Director in San Antonio, Texas

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a US Air Force Program Director for our San Antonio, TX office. The following locations will also be considered: San Diego, CA, Denver, CO, and Washington, DC. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

The US Air Force Program Director will focus on growing the Federal Team's US Air Force Program, delivering our service capabilities to include engineering, architecture, planning, environmental engineering and program management; as well as focus on enhancing and strengthening relationships with US Air Force globally, to drive new business opportunities. The position will work with district leaders across all sectors, as well as with regional and national leadership, to position WSP as the preferred and trusted choice for clients and employees.

Your Impact

  • Leverage FP's and WSP USA's technical experience to enhance current and new service offerings.

  • Advance the strategic growth direction of the US Air Force program and position for sustained and continued growth.

  • Manages client coordination and cross-selling efforts across all business lines in coordination with Region, District, National Business Lines, Marketing Excellence Center and Pursuit Management.

  • Generate leads, assess new markets, and develop new business opportunities for US Air Force projects/programs.

  • Participate in federal business growth strategy development and execution.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Fifteen plus years’ experience in consulting, engineering, program management and or business development to the federal government (DOD).

  • Five plus years' experience working with US Air Force operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong knowledge and overall understanding of U.S US Air Force clients; US contracting industry; knowledge of Federal budgeting, industry business drivers and motivators.

  • Experience leading strategy and marketing for Federal acquisitions; demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders, and in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results.

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of servicing client needs and effective program planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing large and complex opportunities and pursuits.

  • Strong business development skills with attention to win strategies and differentiators.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate and under limited time constraints.

  • DOD Security Clearance (preferred).

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $230,000 - $275,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $230,000 - $260,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
