Aspen Medical Licensed Clinical Psychiatrist in San Antonio, Texas

Aspen Medical is seeking Clinical Psychiatrist for a remote telehealth opportunity supporting active-duty military service members. 

Requirements: 

  • Education

  • MD or DO degree and completion of ACGME accredited 4-year Residency.

  • License:

  • A current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice Psychiatry independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.  

  • Experience:

  • Two years of post-graduate experience as a clinical psychiatrist using virtual platforms to perform bio-psychosocial evaluations, develop behavioral health treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy. The preferred candidate will have experience administering Active-Duty Profiles, performing Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) evaluations, performing fitness for duty determinations, and using virtual platforms within the Military Health System.   

  • Certifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).  

  • Must maintain current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
