This position is for a Supplemental Urgent Response Group (SURG) with a company location in Salt Lake City, UT.

Summary: Metro Logics, Inc. is seeking part-time forklift/reach operators to serve on Metro's Supplemental Urgent Response Group (SURG). This team provides time sensitive, emergency response warehousing/logistics for our clients.  This position requires team members to be on-call 24/7/365 for their preferred shift.  SURG team members are committed individuals who agree to work on short notice, usually within four hours from the time they are notified.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for the timely and accurate performance of physical inventory functions: Operates forklift equipment as required, ensuring that safety standards are followed. Receives and processes incoming shipments. Puts away product in appropriate locations. Completes shipping functions as requested. Records pulling, packing, and shipping information as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications Include: High school graduate or equivalent; training in forklift operation and safety certification required. Knowledge of inventory receiving, processing, and storage procedures. Understanding of production line supply requirements and general production operations. Previous forklift experience required. Ability to acquire and maintain forklift certification. Attention to detail. Able to maintain accurate paperwork. Organizational skills. Able to use all related computer applications. Required to work a minimum of (1) four hour shift each month based on preferred shift. Required to have a personal cell phone.
