Manufacturing Engineering Technician

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in our Salisbury, NC facility.

Candidates should expect a fast-paced, growth environment and have experience quality management in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes

  • Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans

  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities for increased overall equipment effectiveness

  • Documents and analyzes work processes to improve process flow and process control during New Product Builds and existing builds

  • Perform time studies on all product builds

  • Assists in the development of standard work and process work instructions for all product lines

  • Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and related tooling, equipment or process issues

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of directly relevant working experience.

Knowledge of:

  • Assembly Line product implementation and workflow

  • Lean principles and tools

  • Excellent computer skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to:

  • Ability to work with diverse teams

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Communicate complex information to all levels of employees and customers both verbally and written

  • Assess workload and develop priorities in a fast growing organization

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Physical Demands:

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
