Revlon Quality Control Coordinator in Salem, Virginia

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Coordinator will administer the quality assurance/quality control program which ensures product integrity and compliance with all product specifications, requirements, and Revlon/Elizabeth Arden procedures. This position will lead and coordinate the Quality activities. This position will assist, when necessary, regarding critical quality decisions. This position will also oversee that all employees are operating in a safe manner. The Coordinator will provide Quality Control support to all phases of the Salem facility operation to assure compliance to Revlon/Elizabeth Arden standards and procedures.

Skills / Competencies:

· Bachelors degree, or relevant experience in QA/QC or supervision is preferred.

· Minimum Years Experience Required: 1 Year

· Thorough knowledge of quality systems and procedures in a cGMP facility, including industry regulations, cosmetic manufacturing and controls. Knowledge of JDE and SAP is preferred.

· Basic knowledge of assembly manufacturing methods

· Ability to interpret standard operating procedures and technical specifications.

· Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

· Attention to detail and communication skills

· Strong commitment to the quality organization

· Must be able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time as well as climb a ladder and/or steps.

· Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed

· Typical hours: 1 st 9:00am-5:30pm. Second shift during peak periods.
