Lanzen Inc. MIG & TIG PRODUCTION WELDER -ROMEO in Romeo, Michigan

MUST be able to MIG & TIG Welding of Aluminum and Steel based product. Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as brackets, covers, frames and tanks by performing the following duties.  Past certification to AWS standards and specs a plus.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding. Lay outs, positions, aligns and fits components together. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG and TIG equipment. Remove and place goods into bins & containers so parts will not become damaged. Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.  Performs General Labor duties when and as required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Three (3) years Welding Experience.  MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions and the ability to read tape measure.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
