Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse/RN - NICU Part Time Nights in Rockwall, Texas

Registered Nurse/RN II - NICU Part Time Nights We are looking for top skilled nurses to join our Texas Health family. Is that you? Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Part Time, 24 hours weekly; (2) 12-hour shifts per week 7pm-7am, including weekends, self-scheduling, no call Neonatal ICU Highlights: Supportive team environment. Strong shared governance structure featuring unit-based councils that empower nurses to shape their work environment. New and advanced equipment and technology.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Nursing Diploma required or

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required or

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

  • 1 year of NICU experience strongly preferred

  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required upon hire and

  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and

  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and

  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually

  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
