Overview

Drafter/CAD Operator I ( BTES ):

Bowhead seeks a Drafter/CAD Operator at Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

  • Work primarily in an office setting, with a CAD or GIS application.

  • Ability to prioritize workflow and keep project schedules

  • Miscellaneous office and technology tasks as necessary

  • Managing database of telecommunications infrastructure in CAD or GIS applications

  • Stay current on latest technology and trends

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree

  • 2 years of CAD drafting preferred

  • Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a consulting environment on a Team setting

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
