Position Description

  • Develops logistic program operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

  • Develops project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment.

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

  • Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with security department.

  • Actively maintains detailed inventory log of equipment and material contained on project site.

  • Coordinates with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule

  • Establishes consistent delivery schedule with a 3 week look ahead (both for material that is needed on project).

  • Performs quality checks of all material that enters and exits the project site

  • Coordinate with QC and production to ensure identification, segregation and proper disposition of non-conforming material (RMA, RTV, Purges, Holds etc.)

  • Implement MCD and Contractual obligations towards management of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE)

  • Attends weekly project team meeting with various project teams to understand the needs of the job sites

  • Coordinates and communicates with all project superintendents, project managers, and project engineers who have material stored in warehouse

  • Coordinated closely with personnel located at MMEP to ensure that material is transferred (with documentation) to MMEP

  • Document, implement and maintain controls applicable to ISO9001, ISO27001, CMMI, and UL standards.

  • Maintains secure storage of certain material to meet client material security requirements

  • Understand project job requirements and be able to compare material received against specific project requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management logistics, finance, business administration or relevant discipline preferred.

  • 5 - 7 or more years of experience in logistic/supply change management

  • Managing Processes and management

  • Inventory Cycle Counting,

  • MS Excel

  • Analyzing Information,

  • Ability to travel locally with own transportation.

  • Must have eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dealing with Complexity issues

  • Organizational skills

Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
