ASM Global Changeover Crew in Richmond, Virginia

ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for Changeover Staff. ASM Richmond manages the Altria Theater, Dominion Energy Center, and Bon Secours Training Center. The Changeover staff will assist the Operations Supervisor in setup and tear down of numerous events.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Moving, arranging, setting and removal of items needed for events.

  • Set-up and tear-down of stages, tables, chairs, barricades, linens, and equipment

  • Preforms general maintenance of venue

  • Serves as the Operations point of contact during shows

  • Cleaning and up-keep of venues including buffing; dusting; sweeping; mopping; vacuuming; washing windows; cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, seats, and trash cans.

  • Clean-up before, during, and after events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.   • This position requires work in both indoor and outdoor settings and may be subjected to adverse conditions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work irregular hours; shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Some experience using hand tools preferred.

  • Experience working in a venue/entertainment industry preferred.

  • To promote safety, the employee must be able to communicate in English in emergency situations.

  • Reliable and consistent transportation during irregular hours.

Physical Demands

  • Standing for long durations

  • Lifting and moving up to 75 pounds

  • Knelling, stooping and crawling

  • Vision acuity to operate equipment as required
