Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in Reseda, California. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be working in a dynamic environment utilizing various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Develop and maintain accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company regulations.

• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to accounts payable staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in their work.

• Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiating terms, resolving disputes, and maintaining vendor master data.

• Review and approve payment runs, ensuring proper coding, authorization, and adherence to payment terms.

• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.

• Analyze accounts payable data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and IT, to streamline processes and resolve issues.

• Prepare accounts payable-related reports and presentations for management, auditors, and other stakeholders.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred

• Proficiency in Concur software

• Strong Data Processing skills

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with basic Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Check Processing procedures

• Ability to handle Discrepancies in accounts

• Experience in Expense Reporting

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Industry experience in Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
