Mindoula Health 100% Virtual PRN C&A Psychiatrist in Remote, District Of Columbia

Join Our Virtual Team as a PRN Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist!

Mindoula, through our affiliate CareMind Health, is revolutionizing psychiatric care in the greater Washington DC metro area. We're seeking board-certified, Maryland-licensed Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists for 100% virtual PRN shifts available serving one of our inpatient units. Quality of life decisions and flexibility in hours are encouraged!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain virtual availability to the facility's Emergency Department throughout the scheduled shift.

  • Return phone calls from the hospital within 30 minutes.

  • Place orders and perform medication reconciliation on all patients within 1 hour of admission.

  • Perform initial assessments of admitted patients, round virtually on all inpatients for each weekend day, and perform all consultation requests to the ER, PHP, and medical floors.

  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.

  • Document patient information, including session notes, progress notes, recommendations, and treatment plans, and complete all clinical notes and medical records in EMR promptly upon service completion.

  • Submit Charges to the Billing Department within 24 hours.

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.

  • Willingness to become licensed in Maryland, DC, Virginia, or other covered geographies.
