Penske Senior Data Analyst in Reading, Pennsylvania

Position Summary:

The Digital Experience team at Penske is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to help develop and maintain mathematical models . A successful Marketing Data Analyst develops and maintains the statistical modeling, analysis and reporting across various projects as assigned by the supervisor as well as supports the monthly close processes and financial projections. The position will require the ability to query data using SQL, design, develop and implement reports using Excel, Tableau or QlikView, develop models and simulations using Excel or Python, and perform statistical analysis to identify opportunities for the business.

This position is located at our Corporate offices in a beautiful country setting 7 miles South of Reading, PA which is a convenient commute with ample free and easy parking.

Major Responsibilities:

· Explore data, identify and address data issues, and build logics to deliver complete data from multiple sources for business needs.

· Perform data analysis using statistical methods, build and deliver reports to provide visualization and insight for business needs.

· Maintain statistical algorithms, reporting systems and visualization toolsets to monitor systems, provide alerts and support business decisions

· Articulate analytical findings and share insights

· Pull and analyze data for Ad-Hoc requests

· Collaborate cross different departments and functional teams to develop and deliver data analytics projects

· Other projects as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science/Analytics related field with at least 5 years data analytics experience required

• Or Master in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science/Analytics related field with at least 3 years data analytics experience required

• Or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science/Analytics related field with at least 1 years data analytics experience required

• At least 3 years of business or operational experience preferred

• Strong analytical skills required

• Independent problem solving skills required

• Strong oral and written communication skills required

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or Pyspark required

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint required

• Experience with cloud application such as AWS, Azure, GCP preferred

• Experience with data quality, data profiling, streaming data, geospatial or telematics data preferred

• Process mapping experience preferred

• Data mining and report tool (experience Qlikview, Green Plum, Business Objects, etc.) plus

• Quality program certification (Six Sigma, ISO, LEAN, etc.) plus

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
