IT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management:

  • Maintain and optimize the manufacturing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and industrial automation systems.

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of critical manufacturing systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.

  • ERP Implementation and Support:

  • Lead the implementation, customization, and ongoing support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems tailored to the needs of manufacturing operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and optimize ERP functionality for improved efficiency and decision-making.

  • Production Software Integration:

  • Integrate production software applications, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, to automate workflows and enhance operational visibility.

  • Work closely with production managers and engineers to identify software requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing manufacturing processes.

  • Data Management and Analytics:

  • Develop data management strategies to collect, analyze, and visualize manufacturing data for process optimization and decision support.

  • Implement data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, detect anomalies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage a team of IT professionals, to deliver high-quality IT services and support to the manufacturing organization.

  • Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the IT team.

  • Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers based on their ability to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing environment.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle), manufacturing software (e.g., MES, PLM), and industrial automation technologies.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting technical issues.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance requirements in manufacturing.

  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques for manufacturing process optimization.

  • Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL are a plus.
