Citigroup AVP Enterprise Risk Reporting Sr Analyst (Hybrid) in Queens, New York

The Risk Reporting Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise Risk Reporting department as a Process and Infrastructure Initiative Specialist. This role requires a strong background in technology, data analytics, and software development, with expertise in Business Intelligence tools, workflow development tools, and programming languages such as Python. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to enhance processes and infrastructure within our risk reporting framework, leveraging advanced data science and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to optimize processes and infrastructure within the Enterprise Risk Reporting department, focusing on efficiency and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using innovative technologies.

  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights for risk management.

  • Develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau to visualize key risk metrics.

  • Design and implement workflows using workflow development tools like Appian to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

  • Apply expertise in Python for data analysis, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to develop predictive models and enhance risk assessment capabilities.

  • Participate in generic software development projects to support the broader goals of the Enterprise Risk Reporting department.

  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers

  • Resolves complex problems where analysis of situations or data Requires an in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, family procedures, and industry standards for business supported.

  • Demonstrates ability to Lead projects and/or offer solutions at an advanced level, for assigned operations area.

  • Liaises with multiple operations teams.

  • Evaluates moderately complex and variable operations issues that have substantial potential impact, and recommends changes to streamline processes as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years senior level experience in a related role

  • Bachelor's required, Master's degree a plus in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in process optimization and infrastructure enhancement within a financial services environment.

  • Strong proficiency in data analytics techniques and tools, with hands-on experience in Python, Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, and workflow development tools like Appian.

  • Experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques for risk modeling and prediction.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
