University of Minnesota Physicians seeks an enthusiastic, independent Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who will provide support for Urology services. Practice Details: The candidate will be required to perform history and physicals, comprehensive review of systems, and thorough chart reviews as well as prescribing medications/ therapies, ordering diagnostic tests, and performing minor therapeutic procedures. Function at a very high level of autonomy. Though independent, this candidate will resource close MD availability in decision making. Practice will be divided between 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient The outpatient focus will be general Urology. Clinic will be in-person and divided between M Health Fairview Clinic Princeton and M Health Fairview Clinic Fridley. There will be possibility for virtual options in the future. Hospital responsibilities will include providing post-operative care, managing an inpatient Urology cohort and possible hospital consults. Inpatient practice will be at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. Work 40 hours per week, the hours varying between 7AM -5PM Monday through Friday with potential of one Saturday morning per month in the future. With appropriate notification, specific hours/days may be adjusted to patient, clinic and support staff needs. In This Role, You Will: Schedule: 1.0 FTE Days Call We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is: A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program. Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP. Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's). Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
