Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley Float Medical Receptionist - Internal Medicine in Poughkeepsie, New York

POSITION SUMMARY: The Float Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. The Float Receptionist will be required to work at multiple locations within the organization as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual

  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records

  • Verify insurance information and collect co-payments

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

  • Work at multiple locations within the organization as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
