Our agency is looking for a strategic, creative and forward-thinking manager to come on board and lead communications for our most important audience: our amazing 3,100+ employees! As our next Manager of Employee (Internal) Communications, you\'ll lead a coordinated employee communication and engagement program aimed at reaching, informing and engaging a diverse staff across Oregon\'s largest transit agency. You\'ll work to promote employee awareness and safety, and improve morale and productivity by engaging employees in topics of greatest importance to them, the agency, and our community. Join us! The Manager of Employee Communications leads a coordinated employee communication/engagement program. They work to promote employee awareness, safety, and improve morale and productivity by engaging employees in topics of greatest importance to them, the agency, and the community. This position will oversee all of our employee communications with a focus on reaching a diverse staff throughout a large agency through effective engagement strategies and creative/innovative opportunities. Additionally, The Manager of Employee Communications will oversee and improve the effectiveness of the agency\'s communications channels and intranet (TriNET). Additional responsibilities include helping to support staff across the agency\'s divisions by providing communications expertise to those who manage and/or coordinate employees. The manager identifies and addresses communication opportunities for internal stakeholders. This position requires a minimum of three (3) days in-person per week. Ensure a commitment to safety through consistent and professional behaviors in performance of job requirements that demonstrate safety is a fundamental value that guides all aspects of our work. Perform related duties as required. Serve as a good steward by regularly utilizing our transit system to maintain a strong and current understanding of customers\' experiences and of our product and service offerings.
