FCC Indiana Inc. Customer Quality Engineer in Portland, Indiana

The Customer Quality associate acts as a main customer contact for quality defects.

Responsibilities

  • Engages in investigations of quality defects, using problem solving tools.
  • Customer trouble report resolution
  • Organize and hold countermeasure meetings as necessary
  • Manage in house trouble reports
  • Interact with supplier quality and engineering to resolve customer quality issues

Skills

  • Adept understanding of gauging and blueprints (GDandT)
  • PPAP and SPC experience
  • PFMEA/Control Plan basic knowledge
  • Data analysis - Minitab experience or similar
  • Ability to continue to grow and develop skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to interpret and present data in meetings
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environment

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Associates or bachelors degree preferred, or relevant experience
  • 4+ years in manufacturing environment required
  • Previous experience in quality role preferred
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP software preferred
  • Communication, teamwork, cooperation

Schedule:

  • 1st shift
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime as required
