Description 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday - Friday

Electro-mechanical Maintenance technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits to operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.

Because the Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise, they must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.

Responsibilities:

Safely troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems associated with a wide variety of production equipment Working knowledge of PLC and Electronic Drives and show an ability to troubleshoot a down system with the use of a laptop Working knowledge of PID controllers and analog control systems Perform the preventive maintenance required as per OEM manuals Know or ability to learn all shop disciplines to include Millwright work, welding, pipefitting, and the use of machine shop equipment Required to work by themselves or in a team environment and follow all safe work practices Available for after-hours call times and work overtime as required Develop and improve process documentation, quality plans, training and operating instructions as appropriate Requirements Experience working in a manufacturing environment in an industrial maintenance roll or similar Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Ability to work independently demonstrating strong technical knowledge and good communication skills Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and safety standards Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed Analytical thinker, which utilizes data to drive decisions Strong team leadership and team work skills Education: Associates Degree or High School Diploma and relevant experience required.

Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
