JPMorgan Chase Finance & Business Manager, Associate in Plano, Texas

The Enterprise Technology Business Management team partners with numerous other US and global functional support areas.

As an Associate Business Manager within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls teams in Enterprise Technology, you will serve as a reliable finance and business partner. Your role will involve advising on business strategies, facilitating the execution and implementation of business initiatives and priorities, and providing necessary finance and business support.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate financial forecasting and reporting which includes monthly financials, allocations, and headcount analysis and/or production of a variety of financial/management reports

  • Work on the annual budgeting process with stakeholders within Global Technology and Finance

  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis

  • Lead critical financial analytics to provide insights for management decision making, partner with other finance and functional teams to lead and support strategic business projects

  • Work with various financial databases (Essbase, Apptio) to store, retrieve, and compile data for financial & personnel reporting

  • Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders

  • Advanced level ability expected in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Proactive self-starter with tremendous problem solving skills and an analytical/insightful mindset who takes initiative to understand issues and improve end to end process, innovates and goes beyond immediate responsibilities

  • Excellent communication, organization and project management skills

  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience in Finance and Business Management supporting technology organizations

  • Familiarity with business intelligence toolsets (Alteryx, Tableau)
