University of Pittsburgh Faculty.Instructor.Adjunct in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

 

The Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for an adjunct position, at the rank of Instructor in the appointment stream, as a member of the Athletic Training faculty.

 

Required qualifications include a minimum of a master's degree in athletic training or related field. The successful candidate must also be a BOC-certified athletic trainer in good standing and hold a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or eligible. S/he must have 3 years of current/recent clinical experience as an athletic trainer as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous experience as a preceptor for athletic training students is preferred. Specific responsibilities associated with this position include teaching/coordinating the 2 credit Concepts in Sports Medicine (ATHLTR 2815) course. This is a graduate course housed in the professional phase of the athletic training curriculum.
