POSITION SUMMARY\ The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily reporting functions, as well as analyzes, evaluates, summarizes, reconciles, adjusts, and/or reclassifies accounting and operational information to provide timely and accurate financial reporting, maintains financial records in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations. Adhere to all Internal Control Policies and Procedures, Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, as well as ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\ \ GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\ The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive.\ \ 1.Analyze and evaluate accounting and operational information and ensures that items are properly summarized and posted in a timely and accurate manner; summarizes, reconciles, adjusts, and/or reclassifies information as needed.\ \ 2.Develop original estimates and valuations of accounting information when not provided.\ \ 3.Review or prepare journal entries for input to the General Ledger and to accounting sub-systems.\ \ 4.Develop, implement, and/or maintain manual and automated financial reporting systems. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management of operating reports.\ \ 5.Provide assistance to internal, external, and/or regulatory auditors. Maintain strict security and confidence of all records and reports.\ \ 6.Notify Financial Controller of any potential discrepancies or delays and researches and resolve problems.\ \ 7.Ensure compliance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.\ \ 8.Audit and reconcile daily documents and report any deviations from established company policies and procedures. Perform daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance to established policy and procedures and documents the results of the audit.\ \ 9.Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.

\ REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES\ In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:\ \ Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.\ Obtain required license(s).\ Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.\ Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.\ Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Members department.\ Have knowledge of the Propertys programs to address problem gambling.\ Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.\ Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management\ Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of.
