This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Applicant must have an active Class A CDL. You need one (1) year verifiable tractor trailer driving experience. Must have operated a truck model and length of trailer pulled (48 ft. flat bed, 53 foot reefer, etc.). Also ten (10) years of history (employed, unemployed, or self-employed).


Applicant will be required to provide 3 yrs. accident history and traffic tickets for moving violations other than parking (ANY omissions will be considered falsification and will disqualify you as an applicant or will lead to your termination if hired. You can not have ANY Felony convictions and DUI DWI in personal vehicle in the last 8 years. NO DUI DWI in a commercial motor vehicle ever. NO DOT Drug or Alcohol violation within the past three (3) years.
