Aerotek Restock/Fluid Technician (3rd Shift) in Phoenix, Arizona

Hiring Restock/Fluid Techs!

Pay: $20-22/hr paid weekly

Shift: 3rd Shift - Sun-Thursday 12am-8:30am

Description:

The restock technician is responsible for restocking supplies at the Honeywell Engines site in Phoenix AZ. They will be restocking small supplies such as gloves, hardware, towels, safety PPE, tools etc. Austin Ind. is contracted out at Honeywell to perform various services. This person is responsible for making the area look good, remain stocked and be an assistant to the Honeywell test techs staff.

There are 13 test cells the tech maintains as well as a tool room. Role requires a lot of walking and being OK with wokring in some non-AC'ed and some AC'ed areas.

Duties:

  • Rueful Nitrogen tanks (will be trained on this)

  • Refill and restock supplies such as rags, paper towels, filters, gloves, masks, small parts, tools etc.

  • change oil drums on racks (does require ability to move large heavy drums)

  • Drain oil using a pump

  • Clean, organize and 5S the test cells

  • Cleaning of the tool room - will be using dust rags and basic solution.

  • organize and categorize parts and products that the Honeywell test techs drop off to the tool room.

  • Order supplies on an Ipad or computer from the Honeywell tool crib

  • Check and verify dates on chemicals and solvents in the test cells

  • Use phone to call in work orders

  • complete paperwork as needed

  • Overall responsible for making the place Look GOOD!

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of some sort of industrial setting work. Can be a warehouse or production facility or a construction site.

  • HSD or GED REQUIRED

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

  • ability to work in AC'ed and NON AC'ed environments

  • ability to walk and be on feet 90% of the day

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability and willingness to interact with their customer (Honeywell)

  • Self motivated (this role is highly self managed)
