Honeywell CMM Inspector Level 4 - FAA - 2nd shift in Phoenix, Arizona

As a CMM Inspector Level IV here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products through the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). You will be responsible for performing complex inspections, analyzing measurement data, and providing detailed reports to support our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location at Sky Harbor.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform complex inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products.

• Develop and implement CMM programs for inspection and measurement.

• Analyze measurement data and interpret results to identify quality issues and trends.

• Generate detailed inspection reports and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Inspector.

• Strong knowledge and experience in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results.

• Proficiency in using CMM software and equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

WE VALUE

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• FAA Repair and Overhaul (R&O) experience.

• A&P License.
