Summary:

To assist in the transfer of helicopters from the Production line to Flight Line. Perform incoming inspections. Install main rotor blades, fill oils and perform fuel function testing in accordance with applicable job cards.  Perform engine dry motoring, to ensure proper function before first engine start up.   Perform periodic weight and balance operations depending on helicopter configuration. Perform Track and Balance Flights, and make adjustments to eliminate high vibrations on airframe and Main & Tail Rotors, including pitch link adjustments, and addition of weight(s) to Tail and Main rotor(s).  Assist in the installation interior and custom components for example: hoist, cargo hook, auxiliary fuel system.

*Responsibilities:  *

  • Preparing helicopter for Flight
  • Flying in the helicopter (Test Flights)
  • Ensure cleanliness of hangar area and work space
  • Preparing helicopter for customer delivery
  • On the Job Training
  • Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

* Qualifications*

  • High School Diploma ; college is a plus
  • 5 years rotor wing aviation experience
  • Minimal computer skills; the ability to learn new tasks in a short period of time; Flexibility
  • A&P is a plus but not necessary; Maintenance training for aviation a must
