Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Managing, evaluating, and summarizing technical data;
  • Reviewing state and federal regulations & permits pertaining to client operations;
  • Preparing technical reports Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing;
  • Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
  • Review and manage written document production;
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and
  • At times, job may also entail maintaining monitoring equipment and fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, contractor oversight and Construction Management, and remediation/wastewater system operations, maintenance, and construction.
  • Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. Drug screening/testing in accordance with Client-specific contract requirements.

  • Fieldwork: Up to 75%
  • Overnight travel: Up to 25%
Education and Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering or related field. (required)
  • Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
  • Register Engineer-in-Training, or ability to take exam within 6 months. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
  • Prior research experience in water/wastewater, contaminated media or remediation technology. (preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS). (preferred).
  • Technical experience in engineering, water/wastewater or related disciplines. (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (required)
  • Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
  • Ability to work on potentially uneven terrain. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
