As a Director of Independent Living Services with Hearthstone you will:

  • Provide daily oversight and leadership to a variety of functions with the Fair Haven East and Pella Manor campuses, ensuring these services are provided from a person-centered approach and with the highest level of quality for those persons served.

  • Collaborate with WesleyLife at Home, Hospice and Personal Services to meet residents' needs and foster ongoing independence.

  • Oversee the admissions process for residents moving to Pella Manor and Fair Haven East, providing tours, materials and answering questions as well as participating in marketing meetings and documenting leads in Matrix. Coordinate move in/move out dates and ensure services are set up for all transitions.

  • Work with the Director of Buildings and Grounds relative to the physical plant needs of the communities to confirm that the buildings continue to represent an attractive living environment for residents and relative to the timing and finishes of open apartment remodels and expected completions.

  • Demonstrates the ability to function successfully as a team member in sharing responsibilities for the administration of resident services in cooperation with all members of the team (department leaders, business office, dining, housekeeping and maintenance).

  • Provides insight and leadership of marketing for the Pella Manor and Fair Haven East campuses to ensure budgeted census is met and collaborates with the community liaisons, Sales Director, and Executive Director in marketing the living opportunities at buildings.The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

  • Excellent communication and people-centered skills with 2-3 years of prior experience in working with older adults.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology, Psychology, Marketing, Business or a related field is required.

  • Successful record of achieving or exceeding outcomes. Compensation:

  • The annual salary range for this position is $63,000 - $80,000. Credit is given for years’ of experience.
