Precise Systems, Inc. Program Management Analyst in Patuxent River, Maryland

We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Senior to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Program Analyst will provide acquisition and management support to the PMA-276 Avionics Integrated Product Team.

Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Tasks will include serving as an H-1 Avionics Level 3 project lead; focus area of Communication systems. The position entails performing the cost, schedule, and performance activities of the assigned product lines – with Level 2 IPTL oversight. Efforts will include developing procurement strategies, preparing procurement documentation, and coordinating cost estimates for budget planning and execution. Responsible for day-to-day operations of managing project efforts to include scheduling and fielding strategies.

Will execute as the project lead with the following tasks, but are not limited to:

  • PID creation / routing

  • SPID creation / management

  • CDRL routing

  • Contract status reporting

  • Spend plan assistance

  • Risk tool support (ISEE)

  • Manage TEAMS pages / meetings

  • routing and management of correspondence

Required Education: Master's Degree or allowable substitutions.

Allowable Substitution: Allowable substitutions include a Bachelor's Degree plus two years of additional experience, an associate's degree plus four years of additional experience or six years of additional experience.

Required Experience: Must have ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Desired Experience: Demonstrated Program Management activities related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management in a NAVAIR Program. Experience in program/project status tracking and schedules. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series), Contract Data Requirements Lists, and DD 254. Experience with CSPT, PMT, and CDRL Tools required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
