Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineering Technician III to join our team at Panama City, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Interpreting written instructions and specifications.

  • Planning and laying out of work.

  • Using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

  • Setting up and operating standard machine tools.

  • Shaping of metal parts to close tolerances.

  • Making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds of machining during repairs and fabrication.

  • Working in confined/restricted spaces.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years related experience with a high school diploma is required.

  • A Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in confined/restricted spaces.

  • Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.

  • Must have experience working with common metals (aluminum)

  • Must understand selecting standard materials, parts, and equipment required.

  • Must have experience Fitting and assembling parts into mechanical equipment.

  • Willing to travel. Less than 25%.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position Self to move.

  • Stationary 50% or more of the time.

  • Occasionally move around the office.

  • Must be able to Communicate.

  • Must be able to detect computer screen and other work-related material.
