Symetria Recovery Front Office Receptionist in Palos Heights, Illinois

Who we are:

Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed, and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, injectables (Vivitrol, Sublocade), and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction

What you will do:

  • Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone and answering and referring inquires.

  • Optimizes patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.

  • Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery as compared to schedule and reminding provider of service delays.

  • Comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering patient's questions, and maintaining the reception area.

  • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information on every patient, every visit.

  • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording, and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, filing, collecting and expediting third party claims.

  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level. Anticipates needed supplies, places, and expedites orders for supplies and verifies receipt of supplies and scheduled service.

  • Completes various census reports and assists with urine screens.

  • Helps patients in distress by following office policies.

  • Protects patient's rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.

  • Any and all duties as assigned.

Who you are:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Windows Operating System

  • Learn and efficiently operate Electronic Medical Record Platform (KIPU)

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Medical office experience preferred

  • Willingness to travel to locations within the Chicagoland area

  • Schedule for this position as follows:

  • Monday 10:00a – 8:30p

  • Tuesday 10:00a – 8:30p

  • Wednesday OFF

  • Thursday 10:00a – 8:30p

  • Friday 7:30a – 3:00p

  • Saturday 7:30a – 10:30a
