Tamarindo Projects & Events Manager in Oxford, United Kingdom

We're on the lookout for a highly organised, ambitious individual that shares our passion events, marketing and the media - channeling all of this through excellent client management and service. Dividing your time between handling client accounts and managing key events and projects, we're looking for an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, focused team. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Work closely with clients, speakers, sponsors and other stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience, for every event and/or project that Tamarindo delivers.

  • Build strong relationships with clients at all levels to maintain high engagement in our events and/or projects.

  • Work as a team to coordinate event/project logistics related to the needs of stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and that their investment is fulfilled.

  • Become a trusted advisor to clients and partners by thinking quickly to bring new ideas to campaigns and consult to help solve their event or project challenges.

  • Ensure high-quality work is delivered to deadline and that key performance indicators (KPI's) are met and/or exceeded, by you and your team members, every month.

  • Working alongside our editorial and marketing teams, as appropriate, assist with the creation and production of marketing assets and literature to drive engagement from Tamarindo's community.

Key Event & Project Management

  • Support the Event Operations Director in their lead of day-to-day management and delivery of events and/or projects, through proactive planning and account management.

  • Maintain a combined, rolling events and projects calendar, ensuring appropriate bookings are in place.

  • Support with outsourcing and managing supplier relationships to ensure that all event and project requirements and logistics are in place.

  • Work on the ground at events and actively manage projects (i.e. webinars, media activated video campaigns, and reports) and support with managing the wider team, as required.

  • Research, set-up and maintain event management systems such as online registrations, event app, social media dashboard, awards management, website, etc.

  • Coordinate briefings with other team members to ensure that operating procedures and event/project delivery is of the highest standard.

  • Support the sales and marketing team's engagement strategy, to deepen and scale our relationships with existing clients.

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, database tools (Excel & Google Sheets), sales CRM software (HubSpot), and project management software (Asana)

  • Willingness to travel – this role will require some travel across the UK and globally

  • Have an interest in renewable energy and clean technology markets
