An ideal candidate for this role: Understands and models our Company's Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other Operates, repairs, and maintains gas fired boilers and all auxiliary equipment to generate steam to process jams, jellies, and preserves. Associated duties include testing and controlling feed water chemicals and performing maintenance on air compressors as directed Provide preventative maintenance, repair, and improvement functions to plant facilities including, but not limited to, wastewater treatment, warehouse, bulk systems and HVAC, water chillers & cooling towers Support fire system maintenance and repair Support environmental inspections and activities including waste handling and recycling efforts Operates, repairs and maintains refrigeration systems including process cooling towers and fluid coolers Troubleshoots and maintains hot water systems, water softening equipment, reverse osmosis and multimedia filter system Must be proficient in general plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills Interface with outside contracted services as needed to maintain and repair facility-oriented equipment Engaged in improving utilities efficiencies Support PM and AM activities Be able to use eAM (electronic Assessment Management) system for work orders, PM, and inventory control Project support as needed Maintain and improve technical documentation for facility Support other technical resources lines/departments/shifts as needed Flow to the work as necessary to meet department and plant needs Complete required training and testing as requested in the areas of safety and GMPs Meet all essential functions of the role Can function within all SQMS principles Education & Licensure * Must hold a current State of Ohio High Pressure or Stationary Engineering Boiler License * Must pass appropriate skill assessments including Math and Electrical Aptitude Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School
