Position Summary

Sample and submit for testing incoming chemicals. Receive, store and distributes material and product. Move components for orders, loading and unloading trucks.

Essential Functions

• Determine proper sampling size for chemical lot.

• Determine and execute proper sampling technique for sampling lot.

• Using SAP, record sample submission

• Submit samples for testing

• Maintain a clean, GMPc compliant sampling area

• Report on and follow up on outstanding action items.

•Inspect product load for accuracy, and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure

timely and complete delivery.

•Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

•Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.

•Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.

•Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.

•Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.

•Weigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data on tags or labels.

•Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.

•Receive parcels, sign for packages, and distribute parcels to recipients.

•Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.

•Make and correct issues with counts on components in inventory.

•Bring overhead product down to pick bay.

•Rotate stock according to date coding.

•Returning components from work orders while compelling with safety rules.

•Staging components for work orders, while compelling with safety rules.

•Operating RF equipment effectively: supplying components for different departments as needed, moving inventory through stock, following all FIFO requirements.

•Other miscellaneous duties that occur under Warehouse maintenance and sustainability (e.g. cleaning, upkeep, etc).

• Follow all EPC Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines, including extracting raw, FG, and component samples meeting SOP and Quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience

•High school diploma or GED from an accredited instituition.

•Minimum one year of previous experience in a distribution and or Manufacturing center, including receiving, pulling orders, packing and shipping preferred.

•Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e. forklift, pallets, stock pickers) preferred.

•Forklift Operator certified.

•Current Driver’s License required.

•Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detailed oriented.

•Ability and willingness to work closely with others and departments.

•Strong organizational skills.

•Ability to communicate properly.

•Basic computer skills.
