Your impact: As a key member of our Team, you will perform precipitation static, high voltage, and high current tests on a variety of aircraft components, providing invaluable insight and design guidance in lightning protection to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, testing, and development of lightning protection devices and products for aircraft, including Static Dischargers, Transtrike Diverter Strips, Antennas, and Lightning Arrestors.

  • Supervise and manage the high voltage Lightning and Electrostatics laboratory.

  • Perform Lightning Direct Effects testing in accordance with MIL-STD, RTCA, and FAA specifications.

  • Review and prepare technical documents including test procedures, reports, and technical audits.

  • Investigate procedural noncompliance, identify root causes, and develop procedures to avoid repeat incidents.

  • Develop and prepare data packages for FAA PMA, TSO & STC.

  • Review and approve Qualification Test Reports & Certification Test Plans.

  • Prepare Technical Statements and Service Bulletins in support of customer service, sales, and marketing.

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop solutions that exceed customers' expectations and win new business and program opportunities.

  • Perform P Static Testing.

  • Provide training as necessary to support product development.
