General Summary
We’re looking for a high achieving Electronics Test Technician who demonstrates an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and thrives in a fast, rapidly changing, high-pressure environment to join our Astronics team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Electronic Technician degree or equivalent with a good understanding of RF communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate issues
Proficiency in measuring devices and test equipment
Demonstrated ability to read schematics and specifications
Excellent organizational skill, including the ability to use Microsoft Excel
Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work in teams and to think/act quick on their feet
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must understand basic principles of Lean Manufacturing
Excellent RF, electronic troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail, good communication
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to peers and company management
Proficiency with standard business software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word
Work with test equipment, spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscope, Measuring receiver, and signal generator
Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant test information from reports
Must be a US person
