Aircraft Engine Team Technician - Mechanic:

We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a high level of integrity to join the Covington Aircraft team in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This position will be learning to perform a variety of mechanical duties on assigned aircraft models including, engine disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of various systems to complete the aircraft thru flight and delivery to the customer. This position is labor intensive, and requires being on your feet most of the shift, upper body movement, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds. DOT Drug & Alcohol compliance. Duties:

Job duties are assigned by the area Supervisor which may include tasks that would include, but not limited to:

Engine disassembly

Engine cleaning

Engine inspection

Engine Assembly

Non-Destructive Testing

Other duties as assigned Any previous experience is not required, but would be viewed as a plus. If you are mechanically inclined, we do provide some on the job training.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED (Equivalent)

A&P is a plus

Mechanically inclined

Lifting 50 pounds

Detail oriented

Tolerance for repetition

Read and write English

Basic computer skills

Additional Information:

Fulltime, 10-hour days, Mon-Thu 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
