- Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cashreceipts, or in performing services for customers.

- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and qualitygoods.
- Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
