Job Description

Lead complex Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects throughout the organization. Ensures delivery of all aspects of the project coordination, communication, and execution. Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost and cycle time and increase efficiency significantly; then lead projects to achieve these savings. Improve the organization's capability by training and mentoring personnel on Business Excellence tools and provide mentoring and leadership to Sponsors, Green-belt, and Kaizen candidates. Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate analysis of opportunities and risks, identify impacts and recommendations to the business, and demonstrate leadership in setting and aligning project direction.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to develop strategic scenarios and options aligned with the supply chain strategic focus priorities.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.

  • Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Support and motivate teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

  • Provide training and coaching to sponsors, Black Belts, Green Belts and Kaizen leaders inside the team. Implement lean warehousing methodologies throughout the warehousing and logistics operations.

  • Manage a group of individuals capable of identifying and executing continuous improvement efforts to meet customer service, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Provide reliable processes, data-driven problem solving, and robust root cause analysis capabilities to support the operational SC excellence team.

  • May Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and perform regular value stream mappings to gain efficiencies in the department/area.

  • Lead multiple high-impact process improvement projects across the organization. Identify opportunities to significantly reduce warehousing operating cost and cycle time, increase efficiency, and lead implementation efforts.

    Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)

Qualifications

  • 10 years of business experience, a minimum of 4 years of LSS experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred disciplines: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management.

  • An accredited LSS Black Belt is required; PMP is preferred.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

  • Financial acumen and ability to assess project ROI

  • Proven experience in leading LSS projects in operational and transactional settings.
