Job Title: Stock Room Associate

General Overview:

As a stockroom worker you will receive materials, pull orders, and maintain the work area in an efficient manner to support the flow of business. Acts as a liaison between production and each member company to ensure materials are on time and correct. This position will be based out of the Catalyst Acoustics Group Manufacturing Campus in North Aurora, IL.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receives and stores all materials in proper locations
  • Receives materials into ERP system
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of all material locations
  • Picks raw materials, consumables and safety supplies for manufacturing team
  • Picks and stages materials for outgoing projects
  • Transfer inventory between locations
  • Investigates discrepancies between ERP system and inventory counts
  • Perform cycle counting
  • Participates in yearly inventory

Core Competencies:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Visual ERP software knowledge (preferred however not required, if not Visual, experience with using an ERP system)
  • Maintains appropriate levels of optimism and enthusiasm.
  • Exhibits Proactive nature in day-to-day activities.
  • High level of pride in ones work
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer focus approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Uses a clear, professional, and concise communication style, listens well, does not interrupt others.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Bi-Lingual English & Spanish a plus but not required.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or GED Equivalent. Previous stocking experience is a plus.
