Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Quality Control Manager - Norfolk, VA

The Quality Control Manager position shall be responsible for administering the Quality Control Program in accordance with customer and company requirements, applicable regulations, and contractual provisions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage the Quality Control Program.

  • Implement and maintain the Quality Control process that is tailored to the contract and encompasses all facets of the operation.

  • Monitor and participate in all areas of operations, including inspecting projects, service work orders, preventative maintenance and subcontractors.

  • Inspect work in progress and any finished work for discrepancies in accordance with the Quality Control Program and contract requirements.

  • Document and track deficiencies found during the Quality Control process and report findings to the customer.

  • Maintain Quality Control files and the documented results of all inspections.

  • Recommend changes to management or methods to improve workflow or techniques to enhance the quality of service provided.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

    Position Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance; or a minimum of (3) years' experience plus a Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification.

  • Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.

  • OSHA 30 Hour certification.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate the work requirements with various staff and subcontractors.

  • The ability to prioritize, organize and work well under stress and maintain deadlines.

  • The ability to work flexible hours in order to meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of acceptable workplace practices including occupational safety and health regulations.

  • Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in writing with internal and external clients and co-workers.

  • Valid state driver's license with no major infractions.

  • Must be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment and obtain access to federal installations is required.

    Support Hours: Normal Duty Hours

    Place of Performance: The primary work location will be Norfolk, VA

    Travel: There is little to no travel expected on this contract
