Lead Engineering Developer (Salesforce CRM Integrations)

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one day per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, Roanoke, VA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT, Louisville, KY or Houston, TX.

The Lead Engineering Developer (Salesforce CRM Integrations) is responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on various technology platforms.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develops technical solutions within the Salesforce CRM Application to assist with sales and marketing efforts.  

  • Participates in design, development and implementation of Healthcare Frameworks including sales and the member experience.

  • Participates in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including business requirements assessments and the development, delivery, and execution of technical solutions. 

  • Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.

  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.

  • Assesses current status and supports data information planning.

  • Collaborates with product architects for application design and perform design and code reviews. 

  • Leads efforts with sales and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.

  • Mentors others and may lead multiple small to medium sized projects.

  • Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

  • Supports vendor evaluations. 

  • Creates and maintains well-written documentation, such as deployment procedures, architectural diagrams, incident communication, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Schedules change deployments, upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, maintenance, and other activities.

  • Investigates and summarizes major incidents and works to improve incident detection and faster resolutions.

  • Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.

  • Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years related experience; multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and effective decision-making strongly preferred.

  • Experience mentoring others strongly preferred.

  • Experience leading multiple small projects and providing troubleshooting support strongly preferred.

  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences with varying technical knowledge strongly preferred.

  • Ability to articulate objectives, problem statements and success criteria strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of distributed microservices architecture with focus on Coding Languages such as Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of distributed microservices architecture with focus on Middleware such as Web Sphere Liberty and Undertow strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of distributed microservices architecture with focus on Databases such as Oracle and Snowflake strongly preferred.

  • Conceptual understanding of web stack/ETL components such as Client Frameworks with Angular and React, Middleware with Apigee, REST APIs, and Informatica, Cloud services with AD, key vaults and GAE, CI/CD solutions with Bamboo, Udeploy, Jira, OpenShift and Kubernetes strongly preferred.

  • Working experience in cloud technologies and platforms such as Salesforce CRM, AWS strongly preferred.

  • Experience with customer journeys in healthcare, understanding emerging technology stacks, communication channels, digital trends on personalization and advanced analytics strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to deliver best in class Sales and Marketing solutions strongly preferred.

  • Ability to influence leadership on the need of a particular technological or business solution strongly preferred.
